Schizoid personality disorder" are all reflected in 'Gregor' his fictional character. There is a feeling of religion in the text which I get from the rotten apple and the description of starvation... The way in which Gregor's death is described in general seems to have a biblical reference? I noticed that with the transformation of Gregor in the text, his human like qualities also transform into that what we would expect of a bug, much unlike other transformation tales i have read/heard.
