photoshop experimentation

I wanted to start looking at creating images which combined aspects that would potentially be used in my final image. I found and image of an empty sunbed on google and a studio photograph or a woman stood up and went about combining to two and mimicking the blue glow of the model much like in the twitter images.

  

I used the sunbed as the back ground, and merged areas of the mesh like texture from the top right image onto the models skin as to experiment with creating different skin effects.

In one of the images I played around with applying the gas mask onto the models face, thinking it could be a way of making a statement about beauty standards and the way in which such ideals are drummed into us by society.

I have since decided that I do not want to over complicate my final image and the skin effect I will be looking to incorporate will be that of a plastic shiny doll. This is something I will have to look at tutorials and experiment with to see if it works, in addition I want to incorporate a puppet like effect to represent the ways in which we are all slaves to society. In addition I plan on looking at ways of creating segmented divides in the skin of my cyborg to enhance the doll like effect and play with the idea of sexual appearances symbolise the way in which women are objectified sexual objects (linking with sex dolls)

My whole idea is a bit all over the place at the minute as there is so much i am trying to get across in my one image, however I plan to resolve this and ensure my image makes a powerful statement and evokes questions without being over complicated.
